Introduction

Zirconia toughened alumina beads of 4.0 true density is made from zirconium and alumina.

The ZTA beads produced by our company have high wear resistance. Its wear resistance is one-fourth that of ordinary ceramic balls and about one-tenth that of steel balls. It is equivalent to zirconia balls, but the price is only one third that of zirconia balls. In addition, it has a series of advantages of high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance (except hydrofluoric acid). Therefore, the mining industry often uses ZTA beads as fine grinding media to reduce the impact of leaching of impurity iron. Through market research, it was found that when they are used for fine grinding of gold, copper ore, lead-zinc ores, the power consumption, material consumption, and liner wear will be significantly reduced. Therefore, the mining industry has tried to use them in recent years.
